The AI competition to improve the lives of everyday Australians

Australia’s AI Sprint brings together the AI community to give innovators the chance to build new, useful AI solutions to tackle some of the nation's biggest challenges.

It’s a joint effort between the National AI Centre (coordinated by Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO), Australia's largest innovation community Stone & Chalk, and Google Cloud.

Participants gets the support they need – including corporate partnership opportunities, commercial mentoring, networking and technical assistance – to turn their AI tech into a sustainable business.

A pool of research and development support valued at $500,000 from selected Australian research institutes is given to first, second and third place winners.

This prize is provided by the National AI Centre and is facilitated by CSIRO's SME Connect.

The AI Sprint for 2024 is now complete.
