Code of Conduct
(a) Participants must treat each other with respect, dignity, and consideration. This applies to all interactions, including in-person and online communications.
(b) Discrimination or harassment of any kind based on gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, or political views is strictly prohibited.
(c) Harassment includes but is not limited to: offensive comments, sexual images in public spaces, intimidation, stalking, unwanted photography or recording, disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
(a) All participants, including sponsors and partners, are expected to contribute to a safe, inclusive environment free of harassment and discrimination.
(b) Sexualized imagery, activities, or material are not appropriate. This includes attire, uniforms, or costumes of sponsor representatives.
(c) A policy of 'ask first' should be followed for photography or audio/video recording to ensure everyone's comfort and consent.
(a) Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior must comply immediately.
(b) If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, organisers may take actions such as issuing a warning, removal from communication channels (i.e. Slack) and deletion of disrespectful messages, expulsion from the AI Sprint program, or reporting to local law enforcement.
(c) The anti-harassment policy applies to all hackathon and workshop venues, as well as related social events.
(a) Any incidents of harassment or other concerns should be immediately reported to a member of the event staff.
(b) Event staff will assist those experiencing harassment by contacting security or law enforcement, providing escorts, or helping them feel safe.
(c) Confidentiality will be maintained to the extent possible while ensuring the safety and security of all participants.
(a) Sponsors and partners are expected to uphold the same standards of behaviour as participants.
(b) They must avoid creating a sexualised environment or using sexualised promotional materials.
(a) The organisers are dedicated to providing a welcoming and harassment-free experience for everyone, valuing your attendance and participation.
These rules apply throughout the duration of the event, including in ancillary or social events associated with it.
