Cynch Security: accelerating cyber security innovation for small businesses

The Stone & Chalk x KPMG Future Technology Program has officially started for another year, and this time, the focus is on accelerating the development of innovative space startups. This program is a fantastic opportunity for small businesses to work alongside experts at KPMG and get access to critical resources that they wouldn't usually be able to afford.

One of the first recipients of the Future Technology Program was Susie Jones, the co-founder and CEO of Cynch Security. Susie is passionate about cyber security for small businesses and has built a product that makes cyber security easy to understand, follow, and implement within a company. Cynch also helps small businesses that work with large companies answer security assurance questions and improve their security, ultimately improving the cyber resilience of the entire supply chain.

When asked how she learned about the KPMG Future Technology Program, Susie revealed that one of her fellow Stone & Chalk Melbourne founders told her about it, saying “The program would be an excellent fit for Cynch given that they're all about small businesses, supply chains, and improving the betterment of everybody in that supply chain.”

Susie is excited about the program's potential and looks forward to working with KPMG experts to develop solutions and ways for Cynch to partner with KPMG's clients. She is also thrilled about the opportunity to access the critical resources KPMG offers, which would be second to none for a startup like Cynch.

When asked where she sees Cynch heading in the next 12 months, Susie revealed that their goal is to go to market with KPMG and speak to some of their clients with supply chain issues with small business suppliers. Cynch aims to work with these clients and develop a deal that benefits everyone.

For Susie, the Future Technology Program opportunity is a way to kickstart Cynch's go-to-market strategy and work with people they might not be able to work with otherwise. Susie encourages startups that are working on something cool but need help learning how to get out there to go for it and apply for the program.
